Mountain Phoenix Roasters searches the world for the best coffee from the best sources and roasts it in small batches to its absolute perfection. Our high altitude roaster is located at 7,500' in Salida, Colorado. Roasting at altitude ensures an artfully crafted batch preserving all the coffee's essential oils and freshness.

Mountain Phoenix Roasters uses mostly fair trade and/or shade grown coffee from sustainable sources as much as we can. Our goal is to apply ethical business practices while exceeding the expectations of our customers.

We drink the drinks we make and will never forget to celebrate the making, drinking and sharing of it. We live in the mountains for a reason. Making great coffee and serving our customers is primary to our purpose and like many of those like minded souls: whenever we see a river, we try to put a boat or a pole into it. When it snows we find ways to explore its geography. We strive to always be good citizens and to work within our community for the better.

Right: Our coffees are handled with care by our roaster, who is a real, living, breathing, rather handsome person. No robots are used or abused in the making of our premium quality coffees. Drink up.
